Once you have chosen your date and booked The Little Horsebox Bar for your event, you can decide how the bar is run. Please read below for more information.
Guest Bar
We attend your event with our experienced team of bar staff and a full range of drinks. As personal license holders, we will take care of the licensing application if one is required. A hire fee is payable with an agreed minimum spend. The hirer may place an amount behind the bar to contribute to the minimum spend and provide your guests with a partial free bar.
Open Bar
Ensure your guests have a wonderful time at your event by putting an amount behind the bar so they can have a drink on you! This can be a set amount (after which, the bar becomes a guest’s bar), or an arrangement where everyone’s first drink is put on a tab. As the host, it is your responsibility to pay for the tab at the end of the night. A hire fee is payable with an agreed minimum spend.
Host Bar

The Launch of Little Horse Box Bar
After years of wishful thinking, we decided to take the plunge and invest in a business idea that we truly believed in. Our aim was to create an innovative mobile bar that could be transported to many locations nationwide. The opportunity to share our love of gin and prosecco was a great advantage too! So, we thought, ‘why not!’ We love meeting new people, travelling, and helping others create memories that last a lifetime. Opening a mobile bar enabled us to amalgamate everything we enjoy, and therefore, the Little Horsebox Bar was created.
Our Horsebox Bar
Our beautiful vintage 1960s Rice Horsebox has been restored to the highest standard, with a vintage theme, industrial touches and quirky details, the box is an eye-catching centrepiece for any event. It is guaranteed to impress your guests and get the party started.

A Bespoke Service
You deserve the best for your event, and therefore, our horsebox bar has an extensive gin collection as well as ice-cold bottled prosecco and Pimms. In addition to this, we stock a small collection of Artisan beer that is served from our display fridges.
There has been a lot of thought put into choosing our alcoholic drinks, and independent suppliers have spent a lot of time picking the best. Working closely with you to establish what drinks you would like at your event is another aspect of our bespoke service.
Frequently Asked Questions
The most frequently asked question is what happens if we do not meet the minimum spend? In most cases, the minimum spend of £700.00 is easily achievable within the first few hours of the event and with 100 guests works out at around 1.2 drinks per person. We keep you updated throughout the night, and notify you when the minimum spend has been met. In unusual cases where the spend has not been met, it is your obligation to make up the difference.
Yes, unlike many other mobile bars we do accept card payments including contactless and we do not require an internet connection. Payment methods accepted are: Visa™, Mastercard™, Apple/Android Pay™ and Cash.
We would be glad to. We do have a wedding drinks package; however, if you are looking for something more bespoke, we can create a tailored package that matches your requests. After discussing your requirements, we then provide a quote based on the drinks selected.
We travel to most locations, however, the venue/location must have sufficient access and space for a horsebox. We include a 50-mile radius free of charge from WF15, and mileage is then charged at 40p per mile thereafter.
